HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

There are pictures here of all the children but Jackson.
He refused to put on his costume... so just imagine him as Super Man!
These are taken before our Ward's Fall Party and Trunk or Treat.
It was raining Halloween day, so we didn't take any pictures.

Mckenzie as a Japense girl in her silk Kimono and holding her fan.

Savannah as a butterfly...she created this costume all on her own.

Christian as a pirate...this is a favorite since he was a pirate last year as well.

And Jackson as...

Super Man!!!

FALL TIME WITH GRANDMA, PAPA & THE WALDENS

FALL FUN AT THE CABIN ON LAKE JOCASEE

We had a spectacular view of the lake and the North Carolina Mountains.

Making Halloween Cookies

Making(and eating) Halloween cookies at the cabin...

More memories that week...

Playing chess.

Mckenize enjoying the rocking chair on the deck.

Last day at the cabin.

Happy Cousins!

Grandma's Birthday celebration! We made apple
crisp with the apples we picked at Bryson's apple orchard
earlier that week.

On the dock at lake Jocassee.

CAMPING WITH OMA

Oma and the boys with Lake Keowee behind them.

Oma with the girls.

Mckenzie enjoying the cool breeze.  This her favorite time of year to be outside.

We had to restrain Jackson from climbing up and jumping off.
He wanted to go see the fish.

Hard to resist those smiles!

Having fun on the playground.

SPECIAL BAPTISM DAY

Savannah's Baptism Day

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY SAVANNAH!

Savannah had a "Fancy Nancy" Party for her 8th birthday.
She invited her friends Kendall, Courtney, Anna, and Emma.
Both her Grandma and Oma were there to celebrate. (Daddy took the boys, Mckenzie, and the grandpas so this could be a special "all girl" birthday celebration.)

The "Crown" cake I made and "Fancy Nancy" party supplies.

   Before the party.

Dressed up all fancy with their "plumes"

Making fancy crowns to wear on our "outing" for ice cream to Sweet treats.

All "beautified " and ready to go.  We read some Fancy Nancy books before we left
so we could learn some "fancy" words to say and how to hold our pinkies up when we drink from a cup.
I think they look FANCY.

At Sweet Treats Ice Cream Parlour

Opening her gifts with her friends and later that evening with the family.  She is holding up her new set of scriptures.

TYLER

At an Atlanta Braves baseball game.

Issaqueena's Last Ride.
Tyler rode 100 miles up into North Carolina mountians and back down to Main Street Walhalla.  We drove 20 miles into the ride, looking for him to give him support.

HEIDI

Celebrating our "13th" Wedding anniversary.
I was in Florida visiting my family and Tyler suprised me and flew into Tampa for the weekend for our anniversary.
He was originally unable to come with us due to a work conflict but him and my mother schemed together and came up with a plan to fly him in and suprise me.  What a great surprise!

Tyler and I before a Candelight 5K Run near downtown Greenville.
We had a lot of fun running in the dark with luminaries
lighting the roads.

Another 5K race in Chicago.

JACKSON

Riding the bull at the pioneer activity! YE-HAW!

With Papa wearing his ten gallon hat!

Ready for the 4th of July bike parade with Christian and Natalie his cousin.
I don't think he made it too far on his trike--we ended up riding
in the car to the finish spot.

All smiles riding the carousel at Navy Pier in Chicago.

Enjoying a moment with Oma.

Making a mess as usual--but got to love that smile!

Another "Jackson" moment. I guess he was taking inventory on our
band-aid supply!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackson!

Birthday fun at our favorite summer spot--High Falls Park on Lake Keowee.

Enjoying the cake with Christian.
